Are you a woman with financial need who is attending an undergraduate degree or vocational skills training program and has primary financial responsibility for yourself and your dependent(s)? To find out if you qualify for the Live Your Dream Award (LYDA), and to apply for the award, please go to the application portal here.

Applications are accepted between August 1st and November 15th.

Are you a young woman between the ages of 14-18 who volunteers in your community or school? Do you see challenges instead of obstacles? Hope instead of despair? If you are a young woman who believes in the power of volunteer action, then you may be eligible to win a cash award for yourself and for your chosen charity as part of our Violet Richardson Award (VRA) program.

The VRA program recognizes young women who make the community and world a better place through volunteer efforts. Volunteer actions that benefit women or girls are particularly encouraged. To apply for the VRA, please download the fillable application and media consent form here.

Applications are due by December 15th for the current year.

Note: as of 2021, the Youth Citizenship Award (YCA) program has been replaced by the VRA program.
